I made this video for a customer who was having trouble watching Camtasia videos from their desktop computer.
Typically this comes down to issues on the users end whether lack of understanding, or settings on their computer to watch Camtasia videos (or both)
In this case the users settings were not correct on their computer. They had .htm and or .html files set to open using Microsoft Word instead of their browser.
A lot of times what happens is people will download Camtasia video tutorials from websites to a folder on their desktop and end up not watching them because their computer can’t play them from inproper settings, wrong or missing codecs, or they don’t know which file to click on to play the video.
In this video I clear a lot of questions up.
Also you need the Camtasia screen capture codec (TSCC) installed on your computer as well. Its free and you can download it here:
